How kids can take care of baby parrot_Tips and advices

I love baby parrots.My father gave me a home breeded baby ring neck parrot.I enjoyed with the baby parrot.I took a lot of care ,hand feeded the baby and learn some tips from my father.

Now my baby parrot is 3 months old and I love it.My father made hand feeding process very simple for me.Firstly,he told me to give boiled white beans .

Here I am sharing some tips and advice that I have learnt:::

Keep baby parrot in a plastic basket.

Clean it regularly.Give fresh feed.Keep an eye ,if it is looking dull or sick.Give proper diet.Baby parrot can die if you will not give him enough diet.Avoid keeping baby parrot in a chilled room.

Provide moderate temperature...

Birds can tolerate a large range of temperature, but the ideal temperature for your baby parrot is between 65 and 85 degrees Fahrenheit. Avoid leaving your parrot in a chilly room.Keep your baby parrot in a basket and keep it covered.

Baby parrot feed

To feed it with syringe.You can buy some store bought feed for parrot.

Or You can make your own feed at home.

Take one tablespoon of wheat flour and one tablespoon of gram flour and some water.Mix it well.It's consistency should not be very thick or very runny.

Fill the syringe with prepared feed and give it to baby parrot.

Other options are::

1,,Boil some white beans with enough water for 10 minutes.Now cook on low flame for more 15 minutes.Then turn off the flame.let it cool.Now feed the parrot with these soft white beans.It is very healthy for parrots.

2,,

Soak chana daal overnight.Then feed the baby parrot with it.

Hand feeding Tips::

Feed baby parrot with syringe or you can feed by hands.Just take soft white beans or chana daal and feed the parrot.
Feed right amount otherwise otherwise parrot  will die .Lack of eating or drinking can cause it's death.Do not give any cold food item.Give fresh food.Do not give water at first month.You can start to give water after one month.

Baby parrot needs a lot of care and attention.How to take care of baby parrot ,if it is sick?

If your bird has been sick, it's important to give it proper care so it can recover and feel better as soon as possible. You can do this in part by eliminating things that could make the bird sicker, such as germs and waste in the cage. Also, keep your bird as comfortable as possible so it can focus its energy on healing and fighting off its illness. It's also important to know when the bird needs special care, such as if you care for your bird properly and it just doesn't seem to get better.Give it some medicine.

Clean the cage regularly.

Give fresh food,Make sure the food has not spoiled.

Provide sunlight;;;;
Your bird will benefit from diffused light that is bright but not as intense as light that comes from direct exposure to the sun. sunlight can be very beneficial for your bird. Open shades that you normally keep drawn or shift the bird's cage slightly if you can get it into a brighter spot easily.

Signs that your bird is seriously ill :::

• No activity or movement like normal
• Puffed up feathers for more than a few minutes
• Yellow spot on eyes.
•  lack of eating or drinking
• Inability to stay on its perch
• Falling over,,dull
• Seizures 
• Difficulty in breathing

Hand feeding period

Hand feeding period for ringneck baby parrot is 2 months depending on feeding volumes, health and other factors.

I play with my baby parrot.He sits on my shoulder.He play with small ball and toys.He is my art work fellow too.

Moving baby parrot to a cage:::

When you move baby parrot in a cage from basket then Baby parrot  needs some time to adjust to its new home. Keep it warm and comfortable, making sure that it has plenty of clean water and food. Don't try to interact with it much while it adjusts.

Firstly,give chana daal (yellow gram lentil)   or boiled white beans.After one weak ,change the feed and now you can give mix seeds.
